Head of School

Dolly is the School Lead and co-founder of The Académie, bringing over 20 years of experience in education. Born in Ghana and educated in French-speaking Belgium from the age of eight, her personal journey shaped her strong belief in bilingualism, multicultural education, and kindness Dolly holds a degree in Teaching, studied languages, completed internships in Austria, and has taught in the United States since age 18, most recently in Louisiana, where she was elected Best Teacher of the Year at Erath Middle School. Her passion for project-based learning, including theater as a pathway to language acquisition, continues to inspire both students and educators. As School Lead, Dolly oversees the school’s educational vision, academic quality, and daily operations, while supporting teacher developments and building strong partnerships with families.
